ECI software installs on a Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 server with .NET Framework 1.1 installed. The server should also have all of the current Microsoft service packs installed. The server needs an internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to support your event traffic. To take advantage of the email features, you will need a mail server, but this is not required. The administration forms of the applications are accessed via a Web browser (recommend Internet Explorer 6.x or newer) from any computer.

ExpoCharger is designed to support imports of any CAD floor plan drawing. EXPOCAD users enjoy one-click integration with ExpoCharger. That means that an EXPOCAD user can publish the floor plan and exhibitor data to ExpoCharger in real-time and maintain always current data on the event Web site.
For non-EXPOCAD users there are a couple of ways you can manage setting up the floor plan in ExpoCharger:
- Work with your decorator. ExpoCharger provides a "Decorator Login" which allows the decorator to access only the floor plan import section--they can import the CAD file and set the import settings.
- Do it yourself--this is quite easy and online help is built into every form.

Yes. Each exhibitor receives their own unique login which allows them to build and maintain their digital booth. They can update content and upload files and images to their digital booth. All of this data can then be accessed in a report by the event administrator for use in the show guide.

A contact form for each exhibitor is available for the attendees to use to contact the exhibitor and schedule meetings. Coming soon, we'll off a more robust appointment scheduler.

Yes. All of the data that the exhibitors update in their digital booth is available to you in a data file designed to be used in your show guide. You can also run a report to see when each exhibitor last modified their digital booth. This way you will know who has and who has not updated their content and act accordingly.
In addition to the data which appears in the digital booths, some additional fields have been added for collection of show guide specific data such as a company description for the show guide. This allows you to limit the number of words collected for the show guide while still allowing exhibitors more words in their digital booth.

There is no limit to the number of updates you can make.
Some companies, typically application service providers (ASP), only include 2-3 updates to the floor plan or other data in the quoted price and require you to pay for additional updates. We all know the floor plan is only useful if it is up-to-date, so think hard about how much that could end up costing you. With ECI software, you are in control of the software and your data, so you can make updates as often as required. Simply upload the updated data and click; it's really that simple.
For EXPOCAD users the solution is even simpler. We have partnered with ACT/EXPOCAD and have created a seamless one-click publish. Please contact ACT/EXPOCAD for more information.

For questions regarding the use of the software, contact your authorized distributor. With questions regarding the hosting of the software, if you chose to select a hosting provider they will have complete customer support in place, typically 24/7, and will provide you with instructions on how to utilize it.

ExpoCharger floor plan views can be printed in several ways using your browser's print button. Firstly, after the attendee creates a personalized tour of the show, they can go to the home view of the floor plan, turn on the "My Expo" icon to identify all saved exhibitors and print that page. Secondly, the attendee can print the digital booth and floor plan data for each exhibitor saved. In this way the attendee gets a zoomed view of the exhibitor's booth as well as the booth highlighted in an overhead view of the complete floor plan.

Yes. Visitors and prospective exhibitors have very different needs when they look at the floor plan and, therefore, the floor plan should reflect those needs. ExpoCharger provides two separate views of the floor plan.
- Sales Person Login: As the show organizer, you can create individual logins for your sales staff. Each sales person can work with prospects online, view available inventory, and place booths on hold for review by the show manager. This is a powerful sales and organizational tool.
- Sales View: You can opt to have different building layers visible to the exhibitors on the floor plan than the visitors see. It may be helpful to display mechanical information to prospective exhibitors but not to visitors. Prospective exhibitors can turn on and off switches to see exhibitor names, booth numbers, booth status, booth area and booth dimensions. Clicking on an available booth brings up sales contact information as well as a link to a form to request booth space.
- Attendee View: The attendee view of the floor plan allows visitors to customize their view too. A visitor can turn on and off switches to see exhibitor names, booth numbers, My Expo icons, featured exhibitor icons, and exhibitor logos. Each of these items will appear within the booth they apply to. Clicking on an exhibitor's booth will bring up the digital booth.

An online booth sales form is available to prospects to request the reservation of a booth. And the prospect and the sales person can both navigate the floor plan via a web browser to facilitate a sales discussion. Further, the sales person can code a booth as on hold at any time.

Yes. ExpoCharger is designed with a special login for your decorator. The decorator will only have access if you provide them the URL and password. You can change the password at any time for security. If you choose to allow the decorator to log in, you can elect to allow them access to one or more floor plan functions: upload a floor plan, layer management and download the floor plan.
